About Ahmed :)

The people who make everything else worth it.
Ahmed Siddiqui is a product designer and design engineer based in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Pakistan, raised in Saudi Arabia, and shaped by 17 years in Canada, he has always been comfortable navigating between worlds. That same instinct shows up in his work: he lives at the intersection of design and code, and does not see them as separate things.
He fell in love with that intersection at his first internship at Knowledgehook, where he discovered that designing something and building it yourself are two very different experiences, and that doing both at once is where the real satisfaction lives. That realization has shaped every role since.
Right now he is actively shipping. Side projects, application work, a coded portfolio rebuild, and more things in progress than he would like to admit. He believes the best way to get better at making things is to keep making things.
Outside of work he is a lifelong gamer, a basketball and gym regular getting back into both after a recovery, and someone who recently discovered that reading is actually good. He loves all kinds of media, values time with family above most things, and just moved to a new city which means he is currently figuring out where everything is.
This site exists because he applied for a job at Ghost by writing a post on Ghost. That felt like the right thing to do. If you want to understand how he thinks, that post is a good place to start.
